They should do something about the markup law? You bet! KEEP IT. I think momsanaz needs to own a small business to realize how the world works. Selling BELOW COST is not a "normal" business practice. It a store pays $10 for an item and sells it for $7, thats selling below cost. That is NOT profitable and is ONLY used to drive the monopoly power more. For those that are low income there are PLENTY of choices, especially on turkey day! Churches, food drives, pantries, etc. Laws similar to this protect many American jobs from going over seas. I guess if the markup law goes it would be only fair for those to go too!

I cannot understand why this pledge would not be signed. All the lawmakers want to stop OWI's but they will not hold themselves accountable. Seems like a bunch of hypocrits to me.

I think this just stinks. What about all the people living on a low income. What are they going to do go to Ill. or Mi. for Thanksgiving dinner stuff. Some one should do something about this markup law.

Well good for him. There are laws in place for this, not some symbolic paper. Politicians manage the laws, they are NOT the law. No one is.

I believe that if these crooked politicians want to pass these laws they should be the first ones to live up to it, if not get out of office.
