Why can't law enforcement work together with the carriers and simply block those numbers? The numbers scammers use are known (see http://www.numbercop.com), so why can't they be blocked?

We need to let this serve as a reminder to talk to our kids about this. We should tell our kids that even if the person is a police officer they don't have a right to touch you inappropriately! They should always ask them to call for more police if they question the behavior. Kids should also know that not all police officers are good, so it is important to report them so they can't harm others.
