NRCS Sign-ups Continue Through 05-29

Three different Eqip sign-ups continue at your county NRCS office.  They are for the Conservation Activity Plans, the Air Quality Initiative and the Organic Initative.  The Conservation Activity Plans are being offered for the first time as a result of the 2008 Farm Bill.  Plans are available for the Organic Ag Transition Plan, the Forest Management Plan and the Agricultural Energy Management Plan.  The Air Quality Eqip Initiative is open to nine eastern Wisconsin counties.  Its purpose is to reduce ozone levels.  The deadline for sign-up is Friday, May 29th.
