I'm originally from Antigo, and spent 10 years in Madison. I attended the University of Wisconsin and then worked at WISC-TV. I also worked at WITI-TV in Milwaukee.
I received my degree in meteorology from the University of Wisconsin Madison. I earned my AMS seal in 1984. I have spent time on the AMS Board of Broadcast Meteorology (the board that awards the seals) just like Tom Mahoney and Dave Miller. As a matter of fact, I've known both Tom and Dave for many years, so it's like coming to work with friends.
Prior to joining Storm Team 5, I worked at KKTV and KRDO in Colorado Springs while being a ski bum (I mean ski instructor) at Breckenridge, Colorado before coming to Green Bay.. My family and I spend our free time exploring the world by skiing, hiking, cycling and even mountain climbing. I also love gardening and traveling.
