GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) -- Madison Edgewood turned a sixth inning deficit into a 12-2 victory over Fox Valley Lutheran in a WIAA Division 2 state semifinal game.
With the Foxes leading 2-1, everything came undone in the sixth when the Crusaders scored nine runs against Fox Valley starter Cam Seidl and reliever Eric Zuberbier, getting just three hits but taking advantage of six walks and three wild pitches.
The total 13 walks by the Foxes tied a record for most walks in game in all divisions.
Madison Edgewood advances to the championship game Thursday against Bloomer.
