GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (AP) -- Justin Remminger threw a three-hitter and Marion scored on a bases-loaded walk in the top of the eighth as the Mustangs beat Barneveld 1-0 in the second WIAA Division 4 semifinal Wednesday.
Remminger walked three and struck out nine in his complete game for Marion (26-2), which will meet Chippewa Falls McDonell in the championship game Thursday. McDonell's semifinal win over Burlington Catholic Central also came in eight innings.
Eric Kroening, who scored the winning run, was the only player for either team who had two hits.
Barneveld (22-4) had a runner thrown out at the plate to end the bottom of the sixth.
