In a matchup of the top two ranked teams in the state in Division 2 wrestling, the Oconto Falls Panthers defeated Luxemburg-Casco 31-26 on Thursday night in Luxemburg. Of the 14 matches, each squad won seven. The difference was Oconto Falls recording three pins to the Spartans one, and when usual heavyweight Riley Delzer won a 15-1 major decision over Trevor Ducat at 215, the Panthers clinched the win, and a share of the Bay Conference Championship. A win over Shawano next week will give Oconto Falls the outright title. A 3rd meeting with Luxemburg-Casco in the Sectionals is very likely for the Panthers.
