In addition, Green Bay had an unseasonably mild November.  The average temperature in November was 41.8 F, which is 7.8 degrees above normal. That puts it as the third warmest November on record. Only a trace of snow fell in the month, which goes down as the second least snowiest November.

Weather experts say this weather trend is in part due to the current El Nino conditions across the equatorial Pacific.  The El Nino is expected to persist through the winter season.
