CHARLESTON, W.V. (AP) - A new study out revealed that drivers are more likely to hit a deerwhile driving in West Virginia, than any other state in the country.
Right behind West Virginia in second place is Michigan.
According to a State Farm Insurance study, drivers face a one-in-39chance of hitting a deer in West Virginia as there are roughly one deerfor every two people in the state. Michigan has a one-in-78 chance.
Pennsylvania ranks third in the country. Iowa and Montana rank fourthand fifth, respectively. Two of West Virginia's other neighbors,Virginia and Maryland, are also classified as "high risk" states fordeer collisions by State Farm.
