Company deals with oil spill in Michigan

WFRV News

An oil company is doubling efforts to clean up a spill in Michigan.

The company dumped more than 800-thousand gallons into the Kalamazoo River. Oil leaking from a 30 inch pipeline coated birds and fish as it poured into a creek and flowed into the river yesterday.

Officials say they still are not sure why the pipe started leaking, but it has been sealed shut.
