NASCAR legend transferred to Mayo Clinic for further treatment after plane crash

WFRV News

NASCAR legend Jack Roush has been transferred to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN following Tuesday’s crash at the EAA AirVenture.

Roush was piloting his business jet when he made a hard landing at Wittman Regional Airport. Both he and his passenger, Brenda Stricklin, were hurt in the crash.

Roush suffered facial injuries and required surgery at Theda Clark Hospital in Neenah Tuesday night.

Wednesday night, Roush was moved to Mayo Clinic where he will continue to be treated for facial injuries.

In a statement, the ROUSH organization said it wanted to thank the physicians and staff at Theda Clark Medical Center for Roush's care.

Stricklin was also treated for injuries and has been released from a local hospital.
