Sheboygan company plans layoffs

International Automotive Components plans to close a facility that will lead to over 150 employee cuts.

The company informed the state they plan to close a facility on Muth Court in Sheboygan.

The closure will put 167 employees out of work. People will be let go starting in September, and the plant will close in December.

The company employs 13-thousand people world-wide and manufactures parts for the auto industry.
