Do Something Memorable This Summer at the 25th annual American Family Insurance Badger State Summer Games

Along with all the usual activities and plans, why not do something memorable this summer? You’re sure to make memories at the 25th annual American Family Insurance Badger State Summer Games. One of the nation’s largest and oldest Olympic-style sports festivals, the Badger State Games offers over 25 different sports and something for all ages and skill levels.

For the first time since their inception in 1985, the Games are being held in a city other than Madison. The Fox Cities will proudly play host to 10,000+ athletes and 2,000+ volunteers from June 25th through June 28th.

"Moving the American Family Insurance Badger Sate Summer Games to the Fox Cities helps us accomplish our mission, which is statewide in terms of geographic scope," said Ron Vincent, Chief Executive Officer of the WSDC.  "Moving the Games to the Fox Cities area gives us an opportunity to call another part of Wisconsin home.

"It’s the people that make the Games what they are," Vincent continued, "and you’ll see and feel that when you come to the Fox Cities -- the whole community is gearing up for their arrival."

The American Family Insurance Badger State Games have become a Wisconsin tradition and a signature event. Over the years they have attracted athletes of all ages and abilities and from every Wisconsin county. Plus, volunteers and sponsors receive a unique opportunity to be associated with this wholesome celebration of the competitive spirit and personal challenge.
