th annual American Family Insurance Badger State Summer Games. One of the nation’s largest and oldest Olympic-style sports festivals, the Badger State Games offers over 25 different sports and something for all ages and skill levels.
For the first time since their inception in 1985, the Games are being held in a city other than Madison. The Fox Cities will proudly play host to 10,000+ athletes and 2,000+ volunteers from June 25
th through June 28
th.
"Moving the American Family Insurance Badger Sate Summer Games to the Fox Cities helps us accomplish our mission, which is statewide in terms of geographic scope," said Ron Vincent, Chief Executive Officer of the WSDC. "Moving the Games to the Fox Cities area gives us an opportunity to call another part of Wisconsin home.
"It’s the people that make the Games what they are," Vincent continued, "and you’ll see and feel that when you come to the Fox Cities -- the whole community is gearing up for their arrival."
The American Family Insurance Badger State Games have become a Wisconsin tradition and a signature event. Over the years they have attracted athletes of all ages and abilities and from every Wisconsin county. Plus, volunteers and sponsors receive a unique opportunity to be associated with this wholesome celebration of the competitive spirit and personal challenge.

Frequently Asked Questions:Q1. Is the Athlete Village the one place to pick up my T-shirt?A1. Yes. This is the central hub for athletes and volunteers partcipating in the Games. In addition to picking up their T-shirt, participants can get venue and scheudule information; check out the Cyber Cafe and Results Center; receive gifts from sponsors; buy food and beverages, and check out the Badger State Games official apparel.
Q2. What entrance should I enter at Fox Valley Technical College?A2. Enter through Entrance 6; it’s the easiest way to the Athlete Village
Q3. Do I need to stop at Athlete Village to pick up my t-shirt before competing?A3. You can pick up your t-shirt whenever it’s convenient for you. Event check-in will still take place at individual venues.

The celebration begins at Noon at the Athlete Village hosted by Fox Valley Technical College and continues at the Timber Rattler Baseball game at 7:00pm
● Join fellow athletes from throughout Wisconsin in celebrating the 25th annual American Family Insurance Badger State Summer Games
● The first 300 participants receive a FREE ticket to the June 26th Timber Rattlers baseball game (additional tickets will be available at a special price - watch for updates)
● The first 300 participants will receive a voucher to attend the August 27th Milwaukee Brewers baseball game at Miller Park – FREE!
● All athlete participants receive a Commemorative Medal celebrating the 25th annual Badger State Summer Games and gifts from sponsor organizations
