APPLETON - Our newspaper partner the Appleton Post-Crescent is reporting that Dave Hash, an award-winning administrator in the Appleton Area School District and most recently the principal at Madison Middle School, died Saturday at Appleton Medical Center.
A Kaukauna native and Sherwood resident, Hash had been diagnosed in May with glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumor, and had been undergoing chemotherapy.
A memorial mass has been scheduled for Thursday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Little Chute. Details will be announced Tuesday by Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute.
