Appleton to host H1N1 vaccination clinic

The Appleton health department will be hosting a public H1N1 vaccination clinic on Tuesday, November 10.

This clinic will not replace the school-based clinics, they will be held in the near future.

It will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Northland Mall, on Northland Avenue.

Only certain people will be eligible to attend this clinic: Pregnant women, people who live with or provide care for infants aged less than 6 months, children ages 6 months to 4 years, children and adolescents ages 5 to 18 who have medical conditions that place them at higher risk for influenza-related complications (such as asthma, diabetes, heart and lung conditions).

Health care and emergency medical services personnel who have direct contract with patients or infectious material are are also eligible.
