OCONTO COUNTY (WFRV) - A fire in Oconto County forced a family of four to evacuate their home Wednesday night.
Just after 9pm, firefighters were called to a house on Lade Beach Road in Little Suamico.
According to Little Suamico Fire Chief John Zak, two adults and two children were able to escape without injury, but the home is a total loss in excess of $200,000.
The American Red Cross was on scene to assist the family with the immediate needs of clothing and groceries. The family is now staying with relatives.
Officials say the blaze appears to have started in the garage, but an investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
