Classes are canceled for Seymour Middle School students today because of a fire.
Police tell Channel 5 the fire started in the art room just before 11 p.m. last night.
The fire was knocked down and contained to that room only.
There is no word yet on how bad the damage is, or of an apparent cause.
Only middle school students are affected, all other Seymour schools will be open.
