GREEN BAY (WFRV)- Green Bay's west side has seen a rash of burglaries this past week.

The burglaries have been occuring at night, and entry has been made primarily through the service door of the garage.  The items taken have mainly been found in vehicles like electronics, along with other items small enough to carry.

Green Bay's southwest side as well Ashwaubenon's Park Place, Waterford, and Smith Park neighborhoods have been the main target of these burglaries.  Local law enforcement and the Neighborhood Response Team will be surveying the area for any information residents may have, and to offer crime prevention tips.

Police urge residents to remember to lock their doors and windows, and make property less attractive to burglars by leaving outdoor lights on or having motion detector lights.
