Door County (WFRV) - The Door County Sheriff, Terry Vogel, says some of the 16 people arrested for drugs and firearms are low level drug dealers. One of those arrested was trafficking firearms.

Vogel says the suspects were selling Vicodin, Methadone, Marijuana and Ecstasy. Arrests were made at homes and parks, but authorities will not release any more information.

11 of the arrested are from the Door County and 5 are from the Kewaunee County. The people arrested range in age from 17-42.

Authorities say the raid came after months of investigation. Officials began arresting late last week and ended Wednesday morning. A few drug transactions were caught on camera and some transactions happened in front of children. Social services will be getting involved in a couple of those cases. More arrests are expected.

The amount of drugs confiscated has been released yet. None of the suspects have been charged with manufacturing drugs, only delivering them.
