HARRISON (WFRV) - The driver of the vehicle that rolled over Tuesday night has now died from his injuries.
Adam C. Weston died early Thursday morning, two days after the vehicle he was driving rolled over just north of U.S. 10 leaving the only passenger dead on scene.
Weston had been in critical condition since Tuesday night at Theda Clark Medical center in Neenah.
According to the Calumet county sheriff's department Weston and his roommate, Justin M. Sprangers headed eastbound on Woodland Road approaching highway 10, and proceeded through the intersection without yielding the stop sign. The vehicle crossed highway N entering the Park and Ride, struck a pile of sewer pipes, and overturned in a field.
The driver, 25 year old Adam Weston from Appleton, was extricated from the vehicle and transported to Theda Clark Hospital. The passenger, 26 year old Justin Sprangers from Appleton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the driver and passenger were both wearing seatbelts and that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the deaths.
