They should do something about the markup law? You bet! KEEP IT. I think momsanaz needs to own a small business to realize how the world works. Selling BELOW COST is not a "normal" business practice. It a store pays $10 for an item and sells it for $7, thats selling below cost. That is NOT profitable and is ONLY used to drive the monopoly power more. For those that are low income there are PLENTY of choices, especially on turkey day! Churches, food drives, pantries, etc. Laws similar to this protect many American jobs from going over seas. I guess if the markup law goes it would be only fair for those to go too!

Well good for him. There are laws in place for this, not some symbolic paper. Politicians manage the laws, they are NOT the law. No one is.

What a joke. Typical parking lot fights pinned on the owner and thus business of the lot, not where the fight originated. Why blame bars for fights that happen in lots outside of their control? Penalize the instigators not the business!

Walgreens or anything else with real brand recognition would have done much better.

Nothing to do with parking, etc. All to do with people having to clue what the heck a Shopko Express is!
